Features
Flit is designed to stay out of your way and appear only when you need it.
Flit reads your clipboard the moment the window opens. No paste, no click — translation starts immediately.
Press Control-Command-Shift-4 to copy a screenshot with text — a product label, a menu, a sign — and Flit reads it with OCR before translating.
Paste anything. Flit detects the source language automatically. No dropdowns to fiddle with.
Successful translations are stored locally. Search the original text or translated text in History.
Pin the window open while you read the original side-by-side. Flit monitors the clipboard for new text while pinned.
Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, and more.
